Wet

It might be my imagination but I don’t feel as though we’ve had as much rain, this year. And, what with the Fitbit, I’ve spent a lot more time outside. I certainly don’t think I’ve missed my steps or a run because of bad weather. I can remember going out once to run in the rain and also taking out an umbrella a few times when walking.

Today, though, it was pouring down, at least it was later this evening. I spent most of the day driving to and from Nottingham for a meeting, so I had pretty much nine thousand steps left to do. I went out twice, the first time with Dan, walking to Booths via the rugby club and then the same route again on my own later.

I hate repeating myself and ideally I’d have taken a different routed but the rain was so heavy I just put my head down and got on with it.
