Mother-in-icing

Today was my mother's "Official 90th Birthday". Well, if the Queen can have one, so can Mum. Her real birthday is in one week's time, but a large group of friends organised a surprise birthday party on the day they could all get together. 

This endearing figure sat on top of the large iced cake. It is my mother, with a favourite book, and wearing her favourite cherry red jumper. How clever!
