Cat and mouse

Don’t worry, this has a happy ending , unless you’re Mittens!
Last night, after watching Scotland record a memorable victory at football and then Question Time, I let Mittens, the cat out.
I left the door open and when I returned, she was looking for something under a heater.
I quickly removed her from the scene, and I found a little mouse hiding. I managed to trap her in a box and I transferred her into a larger box for the night with some food and water.
The photo is of her being released down at Strichen Park this morning. She ran away into the undergrowth.
The photo on the left is of Mittens cry of anguish this morning when I told her what I had done!!!!
