Grapefruit

Yesterday we got some red grapefruits in the food box and while trying to search for a youth friendly recipe, all I could think about was how good they would be in a G&T. Thankfully there were a few left over tonight so grapefruit G&T it is.

I had coffee this morning with someone who had interviewed for our youth worker role a few months back and is now the wife of the leader of my church. She was such easy company and we had so much to talk about that when I looked at my watch, over two hours had passed. It was good that we were also able to reflect on the way things had turned out for SYFC and the way that God's hand was on the final appointment.

Food Club tonight was good. The food wasn't a great success but the time and the conversation with our young people definitely was.
