Pick-me-up dining

I didn't get a place in the London marathon. After a good half an hour of sullen grumpiness it was time to crack on and look at different options. If the Lake Vyrnwy Half taught me anything, it's that I love running in rural settings rather than big cities. That's what I'm telling myself anyway.

Today's exciting events have been: coffee with a catholic priest (he's defo one of the good guys), a last minute panic about immunisations, an exciting delivery of free cookbooks for Food Club graduation gifts, finding a lot of red stickered treats in Holland & Barrett, a good work-out at the gym and a delicious plant-based dinner.

London, I'm over you.
