Drizzly kind of day

Guess what......we slept well and we woke up to more grey skies!!!

By the time we were up and had had breakfast the drizzle had started. We popped to Lidl in the car, for a few groceries, specially one of their brown crown cobs, so tasty! We had roast ham and mustard sandwiches for lunch and I had a cuppa soup too. as it felt a bit chilly!

We had to pop out again during the afternoon to collect some euros we had ordered....hub managed to get a half decent rate last week!
It was still drizzling and windy too!

Once home, no chance of any tidying in the garden, so much needs to be done too, so into the kitchen instead for a bit of baking :-) Todays blip is the result......a lemon drizzle cake. Thought it was quite appropriate ;-))

We've had bbq spare ribs with home made special fried rice for dinner, followed by a moist and still warm slice of cake ;-)

More of the same tomorrow, more drizzle apparently, and I dont mean cake :-((
