Mountain rescue

A cold day, with gale force winds, and the odd heavy shower!

Yet The Mountain Rescue were out practising their river rescues in the river Derwent in Cockermouth!

What heroes they are! 

They give up their time willingly, and unpaid, to rescue people on the fells and in the floods!

We owe each and every one of them a great debt!
