Cracking day!

A cracking day in The Lakes today!

We were up early, and did a 5 hour walk up Haystacks from Gatesgarth, Buttermere.

Unexpected blipmeet too! Marpaul was walking around Buttermere with Misty! Great to catch up!!!

In the blip you can see Buttermere and Crummock Water from the top of Haystacks...Scotland is in the far distance too!

Innominate tarn had super reflections of great Gable and Scafell Pike...don't miss the 'extras'! Alfred Wainwright's ashes were scattered near innominate tarn...I'm sure a bit of his grit got into one of my socks!

Poor Chloe was tired by the time we finished the walk...She is fighting fit again now though!
