Watching Me Wait

At the Kenton Max stop. We walked to breakfast, but maxed and bussed it back. Then we watched 'Our Souls At Night,' on Netflix before laying a few more boards on the porch deck. A frustrating task because it looks so simple: put a new board where an old one used to be, but old houses are simply filled with surprises and setbacks. It is close, but it didn't get finished today. Now we wait for Gregg to come back up and set things to right.
I loved watching Redford and Fonda, but the book is a lot better. Read it, if you haven't; everything by Kent Haruf is worth reading.
