Slow Start

Just like Lewis Hamilton, we got off to a slow start this morning!

It was pouring down when we woke up so we stayed indoors and listened to F1 on the radio. The race began at 8am but by that time we hadn't been able to get Channel 4 sucessfully so settled for BBC 5 Live instead. Annoying that Lewis got overtaken so early but great that he held on in 2nd place to finish, I think, 34 points ahead of Vettel.

After that bit of excitement we headed down to Shardlow then turned around to head back towards our marina. The blip shows how the water widens out to join the river Trent after Shardlow.
