Early reader

I took Phoebe and her friend to Lego club this morning. They had a great time building houses and I made them a little car to go with them. I also checked out 3 books for myself but stupidly left them in the library when we left!

Home for lunch then we all went swimming which was fun. Phoebes confidence is slowing growing again and fingers crossed she can make a bit of progress with her lessons now.

Whilst James cooked tea me and the kiddies headed out to hide our rocks and the children found 4 more! We will re-hide these again tomorrow.

Just before bed Alexander was looking at one of Phoebe's old early reading biff, chip and kipper books. I was so impressed that he easily read all the 3 letter words and had a good understanding of blending his phonic sounds. I think he's been listening to Phoebe for the last two years and has actually been taking it all in!
