All change

A strange day. This morning it just rained and rained. Roads were awash, rivers alarmingly high. But then the sun came out, skies cleared and it was a really lovely afternoon. Not sure what happened to all the water, just hope the reported flooding in the south of the county is not too bad.
 
We are heading south tomorrow. But not flying off as planned on Monday now. Flight cancelled – nothing to do with Ryanair, just some Italians striking. Can’t complain about BA ‘s customer service though – brilliant. Lots of changed plans and a trip postponed. But we might just see an eleven year old on her birthday tomorrow . . . despite everything.
