What's On The Tele?

A reflection of the rowan tree out the window behind me!

SWMBO and I went out for breakfast.
I should have taken the hint as to how the day was going to go with the huge queue, long wait and stupid counter assistant.
Just as well the food was tasty!


When we got home I went and started some wood turning before the monsters were due to be dropped off in mid to late afternoon.

Another clue should have been when the monsters were dropped off at 12.45!

We went down to the playpark  where the two of them spent a while on the fitness equipment.
I had no idea The Cygnet could take such large strides ..... or move his legs so quickly. I thought he was going to split his infinitives!.
Squirrel was slightly too short to use it comfortably - but she really got into her stride on the other piece. What a speed she was going ........ backwards!
It was hilarious.

We also went brambling so that they could pick the berries to go with their ice-cream as a desert after the mince & tatties that they wanted for their diner.

Their have been some frought moments and arguements - as well as a couple of meltdowns but they are now in ther beds and I am having a beer.

Hopefully they will sleep for a decent amount of time and are not up at the crack of dawn.
