Pestle Puffball

The Pestle Puffball looks like a giant version of the common puffball. This one was at least 15 cm tall. Unlike most other puffballs the spores are not released via a hole in the top (although this one has been nibbled by something), instead the whole head will decay leaving only the stump. Its the first time I've found one of these.
