Men at work
Another warm, sunny day in San Marcos, Southern California. We had a hot walk in the morning around one of the city trails, well, partly around one of the trails as it was too warm to complete the whole route. Very little shade with the breeze behind us made it too hot. We passed some workers out setting up a water sprinkler system on the sidewalk, like all outdoor workers it must be a challenge but I expect they're used it it.
In the afternoon we helped Chris apply some airstone cladding on the pillars at the front of the house. We think it looks good and it formed today's blip. He's already done most of the surfaces on his own but with three of us we got through it quicker.
A beer was very welcome after working in the sun followed by a Thai take-away in the evening and a very fine vestiges of a glowing sunset as we went to collect the food.
