That's odd?

In doing some last minute tidying of the garden before our holiday I noticed that this small Azalea which had flowered in the Spring, had a number of buds which were beginning to open.I wasn't aware there could be 2 flowering periods in the year. The extra is a closer view. 
I won't be able to post or comment for the next week or so due to technical issues but will be catching up on return from the Puglia region of Italy.
