Autumn: the time of harvest home

Mr U&L had to go to hospital in East Grinstead today to have his thumb assessed and stitched, luckily on closer inspection it wasn't as bad as first thought, and it is all nicely fixed now.
We arrived at the hospital at 11.15am and weren't able to leave till gone 5pm!
For some of this time I left Mr U&L waiting and went for a quick trip round west Kent to look for a blip.
This wonderful Harvest display was in Chiddingstone church, it was so beautiful, and the whole church was decorated in a similar way.
On another note entirely I had an email today telling me my 'Green Huntsmen spider' photograph I entered for the Sussex Wildlife Trust  on line photographic competition had been shortlisted in the final 12 out of over 400 entries.... I was so pleased! wow!! The 12 will now go to public vote, with the overall winner getting £100 in prize money.
