Magic!
A nice drop of rain last night has flattened one or two crocuses but the reviving watering was worked it's magic elsewhere. Here, Crocus cartwrightianus, from which the Saffron Crocus is derived, has burst forth like magic. It's a stray corm which I planted out more in hope than expectation a few years ago. It.s featured here before in close-up back on 9th October 2014. All the autumn flowers are early this year.
Jamie is much improved and his appetite is finally back. We've had a quiet day nonetheless but looks like we'll be back to normal by the weekend :-)
In other news - the washing machine needs a new control panel, good job it is still just under guarantee (Miele - 10yr guarantee) as the repair would have been £450 otherwise!! Luck on our side there.
