After a long lie in - Jamie needed a bit of company til very late last night - it's been a beautiful day again.  Hazy sunshine, just warm enough.  A few diverse little jobs done.  Jamie seems to be on the mend.  Happy :-)

Crocus karduchorum is probably the rarest crocus that I grow.  This is the only corm I have, raised from seed sown three years ago.  The seed came from a specialist exchange - there were three seeds but only one grew on.  I've since received a few more seeds - need a partner for this one so I can start producing seed here.  By such tortuous means special plants slowly make their way into cultivation.
