Wide Angle Wednesday . . . R is for Running . . .

water across this ford.  We went exploring today.  The forester consulted his maps and decreed we would go in search of the start of the tramping track to Ben Nevis.  No not the one in Scotland.  Our one is in the Richmond Forest Park.  The road follows the Wairoa River for part of the way.  It goes through plantation forestry and he wanted to know if the access was open or closed.  Today all the gates were open and no logging was happening.  I think this is a branch of the Wairoa river.  We didn't need to cross this ford.  I just wanted to get close to it for wide angle Wednesday as you do.  The extra is probably a wider looking view but I liked the water in the main one.
