Dark Sky

The view as we left the Land tonight, at just gone eight. I know it's not good - handheld, for a start (do say if you have advice on a shot like this), but does give an impression of what it's like to walk out and see the new moon and the stars, and still a hint of the disappeared sun.

I'd been sanding the inner shutters of the old window we were given - so many nooks and crannies, very glad that job is done at last - my hands took a while to stop shaking from the vibrations.

Mike has started making a platform in the old chimney to put the batteries and electronics for whatever solar system we get.
