Mountainous Marvão

Am missing out on loads of conversation because just cannot choose one photo out of the ridiculous amount taken today - JanHar, Keibr and Mike are all still sitting in the "old kitchen" after dinner, chatting away...

Went north to Marvão today; haven't the words (at 11:30pm and after a large glass of red) to describe what a stunning place it is... Founded by the 8th century Islamic knight, Ibn Marwan, on a 3000ft crag (extra of the location), it's now only about 10 miles from the Spanish border. We wandered around in a happy daze, snapping away, watching out for eagles soaring around us, and trying to avoid the clouds of flying ants - nowhere is perfect, I guess...
