Last flourish?

I nearly blipped this Witch Hazel (Hamamelis)on Sunday but then along came the butterflies.

It's colour is outstanding, it is the red flowering one that featured on my blip a few weeks ago for the strange nut like fruits it is bearing. https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2351393485942164110
I can't remember it looking like this before and the remaining leaves are very few so I fear it may be it's swan song.

The other one (yellow flowered) next to it has lots of leaves and they are still green. Time will tell.

A really warm day so I spent the morning in the garden after a walk up on the moor which was moodily misty but dry unlike yesterday.

Feeling tired now but need to gear up again for Singing group tonight.
