Early birthday present

Which photo to choose? A huge dilemna today as our son had, for my birthday, arranged for me ( with him) to go up the Forth Rail Bridge. Barnardos had arranged for 600 people to ascend to the top of three bridge. He'd been lucky enough to get the fyicjets. As he was trying to book, slots were filling up before his eyes. Great too that we could support a major charity.

He had booked weeks ago but apart from telling me there was something on, I had no idea until yesterday.

A truly spectacular event. I had to choose the blip of the iconic view with the backdrop on the left of Edinburgh Ccastle and Arthur's Seat. But the extra ran it a very close second as a photo.

My admiration to thiose who costructed the bridge knows no bounds.. We were sheltered and pampered. Even on a still day at ground level, there was a breeze up top. T

A wonderful event with some unique views (e.g. No traffic on the Forth Road Bridge.)
