Steps
We walked to the neighborhood grocery store our first day here in Seattle to get some dinner fixings. Our son and his wife have such a beautiful kitchen that my wife thoroughly enjoys cooking during our visits here. The route to the store starts with a steep 138 step climb to the top of the hill directly in front of their house, then a mile farther on. No rain, but cool and overcast all the way there. Sticker shock once we actually started shopping, groceries are so expensive in the United States, especially compared to what we pay in Mexico. We escaped for under $50, which included a bottle of Spanish wine.
