The CanCans

A really good day.

Got the whole front garden spruced up and looking respectable.

Went on a 90 minute cycle.

Made great lunch & dinner - especially the latter. Home made hamburgers out of organic Aberdeen Angus beef (want to know which farm?). Carrot salad and a green salad (also organic - different farm).

Sunny all day.

The best bit was that Forres Mechanics (Highland League champions) did themselves proud in the Scottish Cup at home to the mighty Glasgow Rangers. The CanCans lost 0-1, but the town and the team can hold their heads up high.

My late dad played for the Cancans in the 1940s. Thought about him a lot today.

Ah yes, the Blip. One of my legendary sunflowers was playing host to 2 butterflies. A tricky shot, actually. It was windy, so the flowers were never still. Plus the butterflies had some fun by never opening their wings at the same time. I got them eventually.
