Strutting his stuff
The youngest is getting better and better on his feet, still not 100%, but he's getting good.
Today, we had the utter excitement of going to check out the new Aldi in Melton Mowbray. It was fine, but not much more than that. It seemed to be a pretty dull way to spend a morning for two boys and I wanted to do more with them than just a trip to the supermarket. On the way home, we diverted to a local village with a small, but lovely play area. I treated myself to a coffee (which was delicious) and the boys had a brilliant time running around in the little 'car area' and playing with the toys they have in the coffee shop. There's a great second hand clothes shop and I managed to resit buying anything, which was very restrained of me I thought.
Very good job we went out this morning rather than coming home, as it rained almost all afternoon and was a 'stay inside' afternoon. I hate giving in to weather, but it was one of those where it wouldn't have been very fun.
So it hasn't been an amazing day, but we had a great time out this morning (ok, not the Aldi bit), and had lots of fun playing trains this afternoon.
