Today's the day ............................ to illustrate

Will was given a book today which pleased him greatly. It was called Reminiscences of Scottish Life and Character by Dean Ramsay and it was published in 1911. It wasn't so much the text of the book that he was interested in - but rather that it contained 16 illustrations in colour by Henry W Kerr, ARSA, RSW.

Will discovered this little-known Scottish watercolour artist some time ago - and now owns a few of his paintings himself. He had the chance today to talk to the great-neice of Henry Kerr and she gave him the book.
