I must admit to feeling a bit emotional today, the reality of all this coming home to me. This is their home now and tomorrow I will set off without them. 
I took Fred to the playpark and for a long digger-watching session on the seafront where they are building something or other.  He fell asleep in the buggy again.
Later we met up with his mum. I cheered myself up with a visit to a fabric store then we took the bus out to B&Q. Maya bought paint and brushes as she is now inspired to start transforming her living space herself. 
This evening she took up a paintbrush for the first time ever and made a start and I only watched !
