View from the window...

Up early this morning..3.30am. Well, I didn't go to bed actually, just lay on the sofa and as it happens, slept really well for a couple of hours! We were picked up at 4.30 and taken to Gatwick for our trip to Cyprus. Fantastic! A first ever holiday in term time!

Breakfast at the airport and then a good flight on a fairly empty plane so plenty of room to spread. We had space to put in-flight entertainment...books, newspapers, snacks...on the spare seat.

We landed to a temperature of 32degs! Whoa! Our hire car is a Kia Picanto...small and compact and perfect and another first for us.

We followed the excellent directions to our accommodation and are settling in very nicely thank you! Oh..we shopped for basics at Lidl on the way here.

So...we're staying in the Cyprus home of Gadget Kid and G! Very thrilled and very grateful!

Looking forward to tomorrow already!
