Autumn colours beginning

I had a lovely day with a really good friend, just pottering, stopping for a coffee, visiting a couple of supermarkets and just chatting.

She came home with me to see Furbie who loves her - but naughty Furbie decided to chew her cardigan while we were in the kitchen !

After I'd taken her home I happened to be passing Pipe Hill Heathland so, to stretch my legs, I did a fairly brisk wander round the perimeter with my camera. I love watching the autumn colours appear as the rosebay willowherb fades and vanishes.
