Barton Marina

I've often blipped the boats or the cinema at Barton Marina. This is taken facing in the opposite direction.

It's been a busy but a useful morning - hygienist and then calling to drop some stuff over to my sister.

As it was such a lovely day, I stopped off at Barton and walked round two of the lakes. These, along with Branston Water Park, fringe the A38, and have been created and developed from the ravages caused by the open cast mining and gravel pits and now lie close to the Trent and Mersey Canal. Great walking area.

They've done a lovely job.

And my extra is of my sister's new lovely rescue Lab - Paddy. He's wonderful.
