Sunny Sandsend

Our usual Saturday routine is pyjamas and cups of tea whilst watching Saturday kitchen and finally venturing outdoors after noon.

We decided last night to make a big effort and to take Jasper the dog for a good run somewhere.

Leaving home at 9.45am we were in Sandsend on the North Yorkshire coast within half an hour.

Spent the next couple of hours making Jasper fetch a ball to tire him out and then had lunch at a lovely pub.

The sun was shining but it was very windy on the coast but we all had a great morning.

We might consider this getting up early lark again.
