Home Again
It's always a long journey to get back to the Lakes from my family in the south, getting on for 375 miles, but today I managed it without a single hitch. No accidents, roadworks or diversions. As I pull off the M6 at junction 36 and head inland to Windermere, my heart is always happy to return. I stopped at the ferry terminal just outside Ambleside, as the last chance to catch my photo before dusk.
