Clayesmore School

Today I visited my brother's new home in the village of Iwerne Minster in Dorset. It's a short stroll along a footpath to this wonderful mansion, formerly known as "Iwerne House", which was designed in the late 1800s by Alfred Waterhouse, architect of the Natural History Museum in London.

Iwerne House was once inhabited by James Ismay, one of the directors of the White Star Line which built the "Titanic". Today it is the central building of Clayesmore School.
