Sponsored waiting

I went over to the church to refresh the flowers this afternoon, and was surprised to see cups and cakes set out in the lady chapel. This was to welcome, refresh and congratulate those people who had tramped over the wet fields on a sponsored walk!
And these two faithful friends had also walked for several miles, waiting patiently while their owners enjoyed tea and chocolate cake!
