An old friend

I had an email from an old friend (now in New Zealand) today, and then I saw this geranium in flower again in the garden. I used to have this one when living in Australia, where it was called Rouletta.
A (fairly new) friend gave me some damsons from her tree - and today I made a damson crumble with them. Delia suggested a nut crumble - and she was right as usual!
It was absolutely delicious - the intensity of the flavour was amazing! See my extra for a real homemade pud!!
