Newhaven from the East Quay.

I usually walk down on the other side of the river, but today I had a look at this side. You can't walk far though as the industrial zone starts. The extra is a local pub, at low tide.

I came across a board I hadn't seen before, with information on Newhaven's role in wartime. I had never heard of the Sussex Pledge - worth taking a look at as it would appear that the rescinding of it played a part in involving the USA in WW1.
