A Clingon!!!!
Slept pretty well..........we gave in last night and put the heating on just for an hour, as it was really chilly!! Our neighbours daughter delivered their first grandson yesterday evening too, a healthy 9lbs, no wonder they decided to induce her earlier.
Welcome to Alexander James.
It was fairly bright this morning so we walked into town, mainly for the exercise, plus one or two bits and bobs. We were going to call in Reds for a coffee, but it was so busy with fs ilies having their weekend breakfasts and lunches, so we gave it a miss. A cofffee at home instead...followed by a bacon sandwich for lunch, a nice treat.
I popped round to our neighbours to drop off a little gift for the new baby this afternoon. Then spent a little while outside with my camera and longer lens, as there were quite a few butterflies ho ering around. I liked this shot of a red admiral hanging on, in the breeze, enjoying the warmth from the sun.
I have just put a salt and pepper slab of bellypork into the oven to slow roast.....wont be ready until around seven. Hubs dug up,thrlast of our potatoes, maybe have some of,those small, ones, sauted, with cabbage flavoured with onion and sage, ifnished off in the oven, wiht butter.
Just looked outside......the rain has started, first shower of the day, so nott too bad, but its still too cool for mid September!
