David's Graduation
Well I think most of you would have guessed my blip for today, he had to be David in his Graduation robes :)
Mike dropped David and myself at Eden Court while he parked the car. David picked up his robes and ticket and then got changed and had his professional photo taken. It was cloudy but dry so we were able to take lots of photos outside. It was then tie to take our seats. We were about half way up with a good view and at the end of the row.
A bit emotional as the piper piped in the Platform party and everyone stood up. A few tears then but managed to hold it together.A fairly long ceremony, managed to clap everyone but hands and arms were aching by the end.The Drama students seemed to get the noisiest reception ;)
Afterwards the Graduates marched across Ness bridge to statue of Faith,Hope and Charity and boarded a bus which took them to the Uni for a celebration with nibbles and booze.
We met David there and I took some photos outside by the Loch , minus my shoes as they had given me blisters !
A wonderful day, now back home and relaxing looking through the photos of the day.
Well done David we're very proud of you :))))
