A calling dove

I headed out to Radwell in the hope of getting a decent shot of the Flying Scotsman but I was in the wrong place for the light so have added a picture as an extra.

This dove was sitting on the bird feeder through a torrential rainstorm and didn't seem in the least bit bothered.

For this of you dying to know what yesterday's spiders were.  They are apparently a male (RIP) and female garden spider.
