Spot the moorhens

Today was the real start to autumn for me, with the first meeting of my photo club.

Walking past the pond in Norie-Miller Gardens, I was surprised to see moorhens shoot out of the reeds towards me. Usually they are quite shy. I think someone must be feeding them. I think two of the three are young ones. They may be easier to see viewed large. The sun came out for just a few minutes while I was watching them.
