A coin for the ferryman

Neither the Mersey nor the perilous passage to Hades but a crossing of the Ouse on a walk to and around Kings Lynn and at £1.10p it was two coins not one.  The ferryman shouted at me as I had not seen the notice not to stand up before he said so on arrival.  I apologised but he still grumbled!
