Heron hiding

I had to go to Peterborough this morning for an appointment so took the opportunity to go on to Ferry Meadows where I walked around the lakes and had a picnic.  I nearly missed this heron hiding at the edge of the lake but was able to creep up on it and get a shot before it disappeared.
