Slept in this morning - walked around St Ives without the ladies - discovered one of the cygnets on Coppice Pond had swallowed some fishing wire and was getting distressed - extra

Not knowing who to phone for the best - called into the cafe - to see if they had any wildlife rescue numbers - the owner phoned The Friends Of St Ives - by the time I went back on this afternoon the wire had been removed - and the cygnet looked less abstracted
