Our Friend Toby

I stayed home a bit late this AM and so had a few minutes to blip at home. As previously mentioned, the little TMG's love trains and their favorites are those from the Thomas the Tank Engine videos. In my continuing endeavor to engage them in my hobby, I asked for their participation in this shot. In this case, I asked the older TMG which train he would like included and the answer was "Toby". (pictured here)

The coolest thing about this picture is that the kids got very excited about seeing Toby on my 40D's LCD screen. (I used Liveview for this shot which allows for the composition and focusing through the rear LCD.) Mrs TMG took a great shot of me and the little TMG's staring intently at the LCD. Unfortunately, I cannot post it publicly due to Mrs TMG's censorship rules, but suffice it to say that it shows their direct participation and rapt attention.

For me, this picture has more meaning than most since we had complete family participation. :-)

If you look closely, you can see the camera and tripod in the silver magnetic connector. If you look even more closely, you may even be able to see me in the doorway!

Note: I will be off the blip grid for a few days and so look for back blips. The back blips will look VERY different from what I have been shootings as of late.
