Steeple Clock

I made this clock from a kit in 1974, and there is a brass plaque on the back stating that.  It is made of cherry wood.  I had to replace the movement a few years ago, and it continues to keep good time.  It gongs the hour, and offers one gong for each half hour.  Sorry for the little shadow on the upper right of the face.  I guess I don't need to say it is one of my favorite things.  My son was born in 1974, so I hope it will be a special keepsake for him when I am gone.
