First day

It was another first today - R's first morning at her nursery school. Lots of prep to make sure everything was packed up and ready and then we had to brave the rain on the school run.

R was so excited to be going with her backpack. She absolutely loved it, playing exploring, and seeing all the different activity tables...until I left and then she cried. A lot. I had 20 mins at home and then went back to comfort her. She played very nicely again once I was back.

The staff were all lovely and the setting is great for R. She will need some time to gradually settle but she is still very little and needs the reassurance that I'm going back for her. Lots of cuddles and me being there will hopefully help.
