It's Friday Again

Friday. This day of the week probably means something different to me than it does to most others.
This is the day 'The Parents' visit. For the whole day.............
I do my mums hair each and every Friday in life and have done for as long as I can remember.
This is also the one day where they spend time with their grandchildren.

This is the day where I get to listen to my mum and dad bicker constantly.
This is the day that I run around cleaning the house before they arrive in a fit of madness so that my mum doesn't think I live in a hovel.
This is the day that I get lectured. It could be any topic but usually it's about how the fish tank is needing cleaned.
This is the day they will bring me up newspaper clippings of things they think I should know.
This is the day where they bring me up a ton of biscuits and cakes and M&S fruit.
This is the day where I explain to my dad, every time, that you just shouldn't make Tea with putting the milk in first.
This is the day that I wonder how on earth I've managed to be responsible for myself for the last 21 years.

And this is the day, that I seem to revert back to teenagedom.............
