Phoenix

This sculpture of a Phoenix, by the artist Andy Scott (of Kelpies and Arria, among others, fame) stands at one of the main roads into Easterhouse as a symbol of the area's regeneration.

Spotted this for the first time a few days earlier, as I drove past, and made a return visit to see it 'up close and personal' and, of course, photograph it.
